Well guys and gals, the verdict is in. With working full time and school starting full time again soon, plus a 5 year old and my niece being here ALL the time... I am putting this adventure on hold. Thanks all.

Pony Bead Bowl

Not a review... but something NEW!
I was kinda bored and looking for inspiration for jewelry, but instead stumbled upon something fun and great to do with my son, although he didn't want to make a "girly thing."
Simple, quick, and leaves you with a huge sense of pride in your accomplishment!
Use plastic beads, arrange on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Take out of the oven and lay the melted plastic over a mold (I used a small bowl, upside down, covered in foil). It took maybe 5 minutes for it to mold and set.
Final project:
Well it is Monday. I didn't make it to see Magic Mike like planned, and my kiddo didn't make it to the mock rodeo near the house either. Oh well. Here's hoping for a better organized week!

It Works! Ultimate Body Applicator

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out an It Works! Ultimate Body Applicator. Anyone who knows me knows that I do NOT do diets, or believe that any of the "drop pounds quick" schemes work. So, after hearing countless people talk about this new product, I decided to try one out myself.

I was expecting something a lot bulkier than what was actually in the package. It was a wet, sticky, piece of thin material, reminded me of a band aid! I read the instructions, took "before" measurements, unfolded it and applied it to my midsection. It had a very strong Mentholatum smell to it! I was told that I might consider Saran wrapping it or using an ace bandage to keep it attached (because I was going to sleep in it). I opted out of both. After a while, I started to feel tingling, and all I could think is, "Could this really be working?" I left it on overnight and removed it in the morning, and began drinking the recommended amount of water.

After 72 hours, the peak time it takes for It Works! to work, I took my "after" measurements. So, the skeptic that I am didn't believe that it would or even could work. But, guess what? I was wrong! No wonder it is called It Works! LOL.  I lost 0.5" around my "natural" waist. A whole 2" at "my" waist (i.e. belly button)!!!!!! And 1.5" off my hips! WOW! Noooo, I am not going to post pics, because I am by no means skinny! lol

You can obviously tell what the upsides to this product are! I think the only downfalls are the price (!!) and the strong, lingering Mentholatum smell. If you are looking for an easy way to tighten and lose some inches, check out It Works!
Check out one of my local independent reps for more details on how to order.

Hey all! Thanks for stopping by. I am new to blogging, and still trying to get the hang of it. I would love for this blog to take off and be able to do product reviews and all the fun that comes along with them!
If you have any hints/tips/etc, feel free to share!

What a DRY dry 4th of July!

No fireworks, no rain, no alcohol... add in a sick grandma, and 100+ degree heat and ya get a pretty un-holiday-day! Maybe it'll be better next year!
